Pizza Sauce
- People on reddit say you can just make a good pizza sauce with plain ol’ tomatoes, but my family disagrees.
- The classic Marcella Hazan sauce is also pretty good as a pizza sauce.
- Wegman’s Amore branded pizza sauce is not great, though the ingredients sound pretty good: Italian Tomatoes, San Marzano Peeled Tomatoes, Sea Salt, Extra Virgin Olive Oil. But it is too salty, and tastes a bit artificial, strangely.
- Rao’s Homemade premium pizza sauce is quite good for a canned sauce. Its ingredients: Italian Whole Peeld Tomatoes, Italian Cherry Tomatoes, Olive Oil, Carrots, Onions, Salt, Oregano, Garlic, Basil.
